ANDERS M. HANSEN

About

Born in Copenhagen in 1962, Anders now lives in London. A retired Lt. Colonel in the Danish army, Anders was involved throughout his military career in various Special Operations Forces Roles and is still a seasoned connector on the global security scene.  Anders has practised as an international finance lawyer and is currently an adviser to a wide network of international clients. When not spending time with his two children or writing novels, Anders is a fundraiser for various forces charities and was knighted with the Order of Dannebrog by the Queen of Denmark as recognition for his charitable work.

‘Kings Gambit’, published in 2008, was his first novel and introduces the character of Holger Berg, former special forces soldier and lawyer, thrust into the murky world of military and political intrigue. Selling widely in Denmark, it is a pacy read once lauded by a former Danish Foreign Affairs Minister as ‘a gem of a thriller from an author who is clearly at home in the novel’s explosive, international milieu’. ‘The Unwilling Pilgrim’ is his second novel and continues the story of Holger Berg.
